Services - Crop Management
Crop consulting is an important part of TeamAg. TeamAg has a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) on staff who is also a certified nutrient management planner. As State and Federal regulations evolve over the course of the next few years it is believed that the CCA designation will become analogous to a Professional Engineer's Certification. In the future Nutrient management Plans (NMPs) and CAFO permits will be developed under the oversight of a CCA. In many cases clients that require a nutrient management plan request that their plan be integrated into their crop-consulting program. The coordination of crop consulting and nutrient management services allows the producer to obtain the greatest amount of value from the two services. TeamAg's crop management programs include the elements that are listed below. Each producer's program is curtailed to his individual needs, goals, and objectives.
- Field scouting at critical growth stages for each crop throughout the growing season.
